Stockwatch Blackberry Ticker Installation

Two version of the Stockwatch Blackberry Ticker are available.  One version will run on the Curve, Bold and Pearl Blackberries.  The other version will run the Storm and Tour.  Both versions will provide stock quotes that are updated every 20 seconds, as well as charts, market depth, trades and news.

Curve, Bold & Pearl (OS version 4.3 to 4.6)

Over the air installation

To install the Stockwatch Ticker for Curve/Bold/Pearl directly to your Blackberry, using your Blackberry web browser, click on: Install ticker.   This will begin the installation process. 

Desktop computer

To install the Stockwatch Ticker for Curve/Bold/Pearl, click on: Install ticker.   This will save two files on your computer: ticker.alx and ticker.cod. Using the Blackberry Desktop manager, install the Ticker on your Blackberry, by using the Application Loader feature and adding the ticker application file.

Storm, Tour & Bold (OS version 4.7, 5.0 etc)

Over the air installation

To install the Stockwatch Ticker for Storm/Bold/Tour directly to your Blackberry, using your Blackberry web browser, click on: Install ticker.   This will begin the installation process. 

Desktop computer

To install the Stockwatch Ticker for Storm/Bold/Tour, click on: Install touch screen ticker.   This will save two files on your computer: touchticker.alx and touchticker.cod. Using the Blackberry Desktop manager, install the Ticker on your blackberry, by using the Application Loader feature and adding the touchticker application file.
